Juve's Buffon not headed to Bayern

Soccer Betting Lines

03/18/2010 - Turin, Italy (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Gianluigi Buffon's agent has ruled out the possibility of the goalkeeper being used as a makeweight in any deal to bring Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery to Juventus.

Recent rumors had suggested Bayern were keen on such an arrangement but the Italian shot-stopper's agent, Silvano Martina, has poured cold water on the speculation.

"There is absolutely nothing to say. I don't understand why the papers continue to speak about Buffon's future," he told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

"Buffon has three years left on his contract and he is happy at Juventus.

"He has never asked to leave and he never will, and so I don't know where these voices are coming from."

Owens broke the bone leading to his right ring finger Sunday night and had a plate surgically attached to it Monday.
